Sunday, February 7

Well, it's Super Bowl Sunday and I've sitting here going through blogs of my friends and trying to find new ones to read.  Sometimes I get tired of reading the ones I'm reading so I gotta find new ones.

I've also been finding new friends on Facebook.  It's been interesting.  I remember these people way back in high school.  That's like what 1985 when I graduated and it's what 2010 now.  So when I first started with Facebook I was a little embarrassed to friend people so I didn't.  I just got a couple that where in my group and that was it.  Then I had people wanting to friend me and it gave me confidence to ask and I did and I still do.  So my friend list is growing.  Now I do have all my family and extended family.  I reconnected with everybody except my father.  I just refuse to do that.  My most important ones were my brother and my nephews.  We just lost contact.  Once my grandparents passed things went to pot.  There was nobody to keep us together.  Usually there is that one person who does keep everyone together  but sense my parents weren't together, things went to the wind.  But now with Facebook I talk with my Uncles (I actually got very valuable info from one of my uncles that I would never have gotten other wise) and my passed brothers kids and ex-wife.  So I'm very happy...

My weight loss is going very well.  Tomorrow I will start walking.  I have lost about 8 lbs so far.  My numbers came back bad again.  Besides having hereditary high cholesterol the meds I'm taking aren't bringing the numbers down.  There's nothing else that can be done.  So the weight has to come off, once that is done maybe just maybe the numbers will be alright and I can get rid of some of the meds.  I think I will always be on them but not as many.  I'm on 3 plus a high fish oil you can only get from the pharmacy.  So we'll see.  But I'll keep ya up to date.  I am trying and trying to hard but I need to get the weight down and fast.   It would be great to get off the cholesterol meds all together because they cause migraine headaches but that's not going to happen.

Both kids are doing great.  The baby's doing fine.  The PFC got back from Ft. Polk and getting ready to send his stuff to Afghanistan.  He will come home in April on the 1st to the 12th.  The he's off to war.  I have adopted one of his friends, his name is Stephen Mackey.  So he's part of our family now.  He's in the military now.   He's going to Utah on Wednesday.  So now we've got 2 boys and a girl.

So everybody have a great day.
